Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
Yeah? Well, me, too.
ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT is going to be showing the 2 ½ minute trailer on Tuesday night, and then it’ll be in theaters on Friday attached to SIGNS. I recently used one of my new devices here at the Labs to tap directly into the brain of director Rob Marshall. I got my first glimpse at Catherine Zeta-Jones singing, and was immediately startled by how powerful her voice is. I was equally impressed by how Renee Zellweger and Richard Gere handled themselves in a stylized, hysterical number. They’re both giving 150% in this film. I want to see the trailer because I want to get a look at how the finished film might feel. Right now, I’d be willing to go out on a limb and say this is going to be one of the year’s most interesting efforts, and there’s a chance for real greatness here.
Also keep your eyes open for the teaser posters in theaters any day now, three individual images of the stars in front of a giant neon “C.”
As Knowles seems to have learned well, “If you can’t be famous, be infamous.”
"Moriarty" out.
