OTHER VOICES, OTHER ROOMS in 1997, based on a Truman Capote story, is the only feature attributed to David Rocksavage.
Yet he’s stepped up as the new director of EXORCIST 4:1, the prequel film featuring Father Merrin as a young man in Africa working his first exorcism. John Frankenheimer was the last director attached, but he stepped down from the film a few weeks before he recently passed away.
It’s a good script, even if it feels redundant. I hope it’s a good film, but have absolutely no barometer for this guy. If you’ve seen his first film, pipe up in Talk Back. Let me know what we might expect from him.
