Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
This is a quick one, but a fun one. I know that I use very different music to write each different thing I work on, and that I even have particular music I like to play while reviewing films or scripts. Music is mood, and so important to my creative process, and it’s the same way with what films I’m watching at any given time. It’s always fun for me to get a peek at someone else’s playlist while they’re working.
And I’m dying to hear how he uses “He Needs Me” in the film. Really. Something about that intrigues me on an almost chemical level...
Yo Harry,
There is an exclusive online interview between P.T. Anderson fans and the man himself over at his fan site CIGARETTES AND COFFEE. It's interesting to read what he saw and listened to for inspiration and preparation. Anderson's work is so unpredictable and exciting. I'm counting the days til PUNCH DRUNK LOVE !
It'll be interesting to see what he did with Adam Sandler's talents. I wouldn't mind seeing Anderson work with Sly Stallone too. Paul tends to bring out the best in actors. I mean look what he did with Tom Cruise in MAGNOLIA. Amazing stuff. Brilliant.
HERE IS THE INTERVIEW!!
Chow !
Peace, Jazz
Thanks for sending that along, and for giving me SOMETHING to tide me over until the film is actually released.
"Moriarty" out.
