Thursday the 18th of July @ 9pm I'm gonna be at a place called the ALIBI ROOM - which is at Pike Place Market. I am told to tell folks that want to greet me to Seattle on my first night in town... Specifically beautiful and availably willing women... ahem... Then I'll see ya there. Oh and the rest of you guys are welcome too, but the women are mine! Muahahahahaaaaa!

I would recommend re-reading my "THERE AND BACK AGAIN: A GEEK'S ADVENTURE" stories about the Lord of the Rings set. The question will come from that series of stories. The Prize? Hey folks, Harry here.... I'm coming on up to Seattle this coming weekend - from July 18th through the 22nd for a book signing I'll be doing on July 19th at the Downtown Borders Books & Music (1501 4th Avenue), where I'll be chatting and signing and talking for untold hours I'm sure. I'm also there to attend something called the "Caffeinated Image Groove" at some place called the EMP on the 20th, and apparently the first 50 people that show up at my book signing get into that as well. I'm told there will be... SPIRITS there. And by that word, I mean spirits in the celebratory extras that one has at such wingdings and shingdings!
Also due to popular demand and some hard work from my advance crew I will be appearing, and signing, and talking all things film at that phantastic Seattle Film Geek Utopia... SCARECROW VIDEO at 5030 Roosevelt Way NE starting at 11am Sunday, July 21st. Soooo if you missed me at the other two events, or for some insane reason didn't get enough, then show up at the Northwest's favorite video/DVD store and I'll be there for a few hours of chit-chat, etc...
I've been told that I'm staying at some place under tightly guarded security, so if ya want to get together with me while I'm in Seattle... then call something called the "W" and ask for the room under the codename... Harry Knowles. Figured that noone would guess that! Hehehehe
Father Geek and I will be coming up and I might bring a surprise that you won't be able to talk about - but it is a top secret sort of thing that will likely be for the folks that want to hang out, that seem like they can be trusted. So you weasal bastards stay away! Heh. Nah, that's ok, you weasal bastards can come to, but remember, I've seen WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT... I know how to get rid of ya varmits if'n ya get out of hand.
Here's the gorgeous poster of the thing I'll be doing at the EMP on July 20th, but I do believe it is all sold out and the only way you can get into it now is to go to my booksigning and be one of the first 50 people. Yeah, I know... Blackmail, but hey... I'm the cure for insomnia when I speak! So there's a draw.
Seriously though, I've been doing travel to different places for a long time, but this is literally the first time I've been up in that neck of the country, so if you're anywhere even vaguely close to Seattle and you've wanted to hook up with me, this might be your one and only chance. Otherwise you'll live an unblemished life free and clear of me. And ya wouldn't want that would ya? Didn't think so.
