MISCELLANEOUS PRODUCTION TIDBITS

* Madonna left the project 50 VIOLINS due to alleged differences with director Wes Craven.

* 20th Century Fox secured the rights to THE BEACH--Leo Dicaprio's likely next flick.

* Dimension Films bought the rights to GHOSTING, a screen adaptation of a horror comic book series to be published fall of '99. Created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg.

* Director Brian Levant and producer Ben Myron pitched THE MUNSTERS RISE AGAIN to Universal.

* Propaganda Films green lit a soccer comedy entitled THE MATCH.

* Bruce Willis tells Variety he has "lost my passion for action movies."

That does it for this week. It looks like Antonio Banderas is busy (THE WHITE RIVER KID, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, potential ZORRO sequel and his own CRAZY IN ALABAMA). Bruce Willis sick of action movies? This may explain (or at least support) the new rumored twist on a possible DIE HARD 4. It is good to see Bogdonavich back. A new MUNSTERS movie seems inevitable (when will they put "Dallas" on the big screen?--so many J.R. Ewing possibilities--but I digress). See ya next week.
