I've had multiple sources hawking this project on me, so there might be some truth to it. In addition to the below report, I've heard that FOX wants it ready to place in front of TOY STORY II. Personally, why try to beat each other, schedule the films with breathing room, that way you don't beat each other up... sheesh. Here's Doctor Spoon!
I'm writing to tell you that now that Fox has it's foot in the door of the animation world with Anastasia, and the upcoming Ice World (or is it Ice City, I can't recall), it's going to step it up a notch, and produce a full length computer animated film currently titled "Pinball City."
The script focuses on a young girl baby-sitting a group 3 or 4 younger kids, and they all get magically sucked into a pinball machine, only to find that the machine is actually a minature city inhabited by miniature people. Who dreamed this idea up, I don't know. How it will appeal to people. Do I find it very, very interesting? Yes.
Oh, and call me Doctor Spoon.
