In today's DETROIT NEWS, Spielberg expanded upon his "Prequel quote" and explained what he meant by "OH MY GOD". So read on and drool
Let me chime in with a little further detail on your item today... this from today's Detroit News: "Steven Spielberg met with the press last week to direct attention to his new film, _Saving Private Ryan_. For a moment, though, you'd have thought he was an advance man for George Lucas, his friend and collaborator from the days of the Indiana Jones movies.
After mentioning that he has seen some footage from Lucas' next _Star Wars_ film, due in theaters next year, Spielberg offered this review:
'All I can say is, "Oh-My-God!"'
Does that mean 'Oh-My-God!' for the technical wizardry?
'It means "Oh-My-God!" your jaw will hang open for a week,' Spielberg said.
'And it means I'm not getting anywhere near that movie (with one of my movies) for three or four weeks before it opens and for three or four weeks after.'"
