Hey folks, Harry here... Seems that a bit of fire has finally been lit under the properties of one super comic book genius, Grant Morrison. Many feel that a great deal of THE MATRIX is just borrowed (stolen, ripped brutally) from the pages of Grant's comic entitled THE INVISIBLES, well... now not only is that being turned into a film, but also it seems that a film pitch that he created called SLEEPLESS KNIGHTS about the world being stuck on All Hallow's Eve has not only been picked up, but has director Guillermo Del Toro attached over at Dreamworks, according to Variety.Com. Seems that executive friend to geeks everywhere, Michael DeLuca has brought SLEEPLES KNIGHTS onto DREAMWORKS, which makes this the second Del Toro Dreamworks project, with IN THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS being the other. Don Murphy is producing this one, and as for information on THE INVISIBLES, scan down...
Hi Harry,
A bit of breaking news from my new book 'Anarchy for the Masses' - Grant Morrison's comic book THE INVISIBLES is being made by DisInfo's Richard Metzger as a feature film. To avoid similarities to The Matrix, which some say plagiarized the first volume of the comic, the film will be based on the second half, set in America. Could be the psychedelic cult hit of the year!
If you use this, I'd appreciate a link to my book's site at MadYakPress.Com.
Thanks,
Patrick
