Harry here... Can you imagine investigating the sounds of clinking chains up above to see Daredevil doing aerial ballet? Does it get much more geeky cool?
Harry,
Howdy! Long time ect. This isn't really ground breaking stuff but it is pretty cool.
I was walking up Orange Ave right by Santa Monica Blvd this morning (Friday, May 31st) and sited a little yellow placard with the DD logo perched on a wall next to a warehouse.
The warehouse door was open and I was stopped by a certain sound, the whiz and clink of chains passes through the air. I could see a few folks walking back and forth among metal girders and equipment.
In the midst of these workers one man leapt and twirled, spinning a long chain through the air and around his body. It must have been the stunt man for ol horn head going through his paces and it was spectacular. He would leap up in the air, the long chain spinning in his hands, and his body would twist and bend. One particular move had his legs doing a kung fu type split as his torso bent to his side, the chain flying through the space where his head had been. Beautiful and fluid ballet movement. A joy to watch.
Just last night I had proclaimed I would never go see another Ben Affleck film. I would now like to qualify that statement. Anyway, thanks for the site.
