Those famous action figures of old coming to a theater near you' MICRONAUTS!

Hey folks, Harry here... Well I do believe this is the first MEGO Movie to ever be moving around. For us geeks that grew up in the magnificent era of the Seventies... Those of us that remember the Mego HULK with detached left leg mint in the box and the wonderful world of cross-dressing Conan the Barbarian in Isis' wonderful dress? Or the inexplicable flesh cloth on the Wonder Woman doll... Or just how cool it was that the same company was making DC and MARVEL toys so you could have Spider-Man fight Batman and everything was to scale. Ahhhh... Well, the original toy line from Mego that was a delight for many of us children of the seventies... one of the first 3 and 3/4 inch lines I ever remember seeing... MICRONAUTS is a project that is being developed by Jerry Bruckheimer. For the longest time the only attached writer I ever knew of was George Nolfi, who wrote a really wonderful action script titled PATHFINDER which was attached to Mel Gibson for a while... Well apparently Jerry and company have a new take on the characters, that... well seems to be completely ignoring the established story of the Microverse.

They've just gone out to screenwriters for a new script which is supposedly centering around a story about a group of soldiers that must shrink themselves down to get out of an International incident that went wrong. Now many of us remember the ol Marvel Comic series. I remember playing with those very very cool sci-fi toys, and never thought of it as a miniature G.I. Joe adventure.
