Harry here.... Before there was Richard Linklater and SLACKER to define us with a single word, I defined our generation as BUELLER!!! I'll never forget that afternoon where I went from the Lincoln Theater screening of FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF across the street to the Capital Plaza and saw BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA... sigh... Now that was a wondrous day of cinematic discovery! And where were these titles that following March come Oscar time? Fuck the Oscars!!! What do they know? Personally though, I'm curious to see what they come up with for a BUELLER 2. I sort of watched ELECTION and thought of it as the third in the Broderick high school trilogy that began in WAR GAMES continued in FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF and ended in ELECTION. At least that's my belief. Curiouser and curiouser...

just moments ago CNN was talking about the axe falling on a couple of shows. they said that Charlie Sheen is doing a Ferris Bueller 2. This sounds great. I didn't even know it was in the works. all they said is that sheen's reprising a role from the 1986 original film, and it's being prepped now over at Paramount.
