Fox announced its fall schedule Thursday afternoon.
The “on the bubble” shows that didn’t make it were “Dark Angel,” “Greg the Bunny,” “That ‘80s Show” and “Titus.”
The best by far of the “bubble” comedies, “Andy Richter Controls The Universe,” got a midseason order.

FIREFLY (8 p.m. Friday.) Sci-fi “western” about a commercial starship working the less-traveled parts of the known galaxy, from writer-director Joss Whedon (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Angel”). Nathan Fillion (“Two Guys and a Girl”), Adam Baldwin (“The Cape,” “The X-Files”), Alan Tudyk (“A Knight’s Tale”), Jewel Staite (“Cheaters”), Sean Maher (“Party of Five,” “The $treet”), Gina Torres (“Cleopatra 2525,” “Alias”), Ron Glass (“The Education of Max Bickford”), Morena Baccarin (“Perfume”), and ballerina Summer Glau (“Angel”) were all in the pilot, but there may be cast changes. “Princess X” reviews the pilot script here.
