For those of us that actually remember that funky as hell Monica Vitti film, and cherish the ultra-cool poster, the concept of a remake is welcomed as all hell, though I must say, I really really would of loved to have seen Michelle Yeoh in the role... yeah I know ... but she would be sooooooooooo cool in this type of role. But heck, surely Quentin knows what he's doing. BTW, I don't believe he wants to direct this flick, I think he wants to produce it. I don't know... at one point the rumor mill had Mira Sorvino there, but that seems to have changed. Oh well.... I'll keep my fingers crossed for Yeoh.
I've never written to you before and I am not trying to spread to a rumor, but trying to find out ANYTHING on this. I was told by a friend that Quentin Tarantino has signed Natasha Henstridge to play Modesty Blaise in a new movie about the sexiest of all spys. Have you heard ANYTHING on this? I've been waiting for a real MB movie since I was a kid and saw the atrociaous Monica Vitti movie. Anything you can tell me would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Umm..if I need a name.. call me Karnstein.
