Several readers wrote in to point me at the Apple.com trailer page, where a few new treats were posted earlier today.

Well... one of them’s a treat. The first one is more of a trick, courtesy of Dimension and their continued desire to destroy any goodwill that still exists towards John Carpenter’s classic original HALLOWEEN. This BLAIR WITCH/reality show “satire” looks like it’s already a few years too late to be relevant, and Michael’s been demystified to the point where he’s not remotely scary as an image anymore. Don’t take my word for it, though...
