Harry here. Every now and again there comes a film that changes everything and makes you look at the place and times you live in and wish you were anywhere else, but here and now. This past week I was sitting in a theater watching FLESH AND THE DEVIL and I was just praying that it would never end. Watching Gilbert Roland and Greta Garbo, watching the tragedy of love and deception amongst friends and lovers. Saturday morning I was hosting my Saturday Morning Film Club for Kids and was screening HOPPITY GOES TO TOWN, the classic Max Fleischer animated feature. That was such bliss. No fart jokes, no bowel humor. I suppose this film would look from the trailer to be one joke beaten into the ground with endless CG. And ya know, maybe that is what it really is. I just can't believe that THUNDERPANTS is a real movie that was actually produced. I mean, SNAKES ON A PLANE was silly enough, but at least that project died. This one is real. And looking at this trailer, it seems they actually spent real money on this. And... Poor Ned Beatty... Squeeeeeeeeeeel piggie piggie piggie Squeeeeeeeeeel. Ouch this has got to hurt.
