It seems that Stallone is lining himself up with great potential projects to get his career back on track...with the help of Paramount Pictures. STALLONEZONE got an exclusive from a source that says Sly's next movie might be an adaption of Troon McAllister's award-winning novel The Green . Stallone would play Eddie Caminetti, a golf hustler who reluctantly gets dragged into the upper-crust world of playing for the American team in the Ryder Cup matches - golf's most prestigious event. Stallone is committed and Samuel L. Jackson has expressed interest in playing the team's coach. The project will be produced jointly with Crusader Entertainment (which owns the rights to the 100 million dollar action/adventure Sahara that! Sly is lobbying to star in) and Paramount Pictures
Even more shocking is the rumors that Stallone will play the lead bad guy role in David Fincher's Mission Impossible 3. StalloneZone reports that "Paramount has approched Sly about playing the bad guy for the 3rd and final M.I.3." And to add to this, Stallone is linked to two other Tom Cruise/Paramount Picture movies...Deathrace 3000 and Dolan's Cadillac which Tom would produce.
