Hey folks, Harry here... I've been having all sorts of problems getting this dang trailer to play natural like on their site, so I dug and dug and got this Direct Link to the big ol quicktime, and it plays like a charm, though comes in about as fast Quint in a chess game. Hopefully they'll boost their signal, cuz... damn it be slow. What do I think, I agree with the guy below that they don't really sell the idea that Mankind is nearly wiped out. However, they do sell the idea that there be dragons.... that the dragons are cool... that Matthew is a cool dragonslaying freak.... That Christian Bale looks cool scraggily.... That dragons are cool.... dragons are cool.... um, well you know...

Moderately cool, but it seems to miss a bit ... it doesn't really convey the premise that the dragons were responsible for the decline of human civilization, which I think punches up the high concept. There's just a momentary flash of London's smashed skyline. If I didn't already know about the movie, I don't think I'd be blown away, but at least there's nothing there that scares me.
