Hey folks, Harry here... The other day at the Alamo Drafthouse's Hong Kong Sunday, they were showing a montage of great Jackie Chan moments in stuntdom and action. I sat there watching him kill himself over and over again doing the impossible, for real. Being "THE ACTION STAR THAT DOES ALL HIS OWN STUNTS!" And I just smiled. Watching him fall at natural speeds, hanging with the panic of a man with no wires attached to him.... That HOLY SHIT look on his face dangling from that helicopter's ladder.... Watching him slide down the side of that mountain as spears are thrown at him... Watching him spit flames and take hits with hatchets. Jackie Chan is a god. So I got home that evening, all punked out from watching the amazing Donnie Yen in LEGEND OF THE WOLF and just marveling at that skipping blade and the oh so cool bamboo knife trick, to find a link to the trailer for the new Jackie Chan movie at home!
I checked it out, watched it about 5 times, saved it to my desktop, then promptly forgot to pass it on to all of you. Sorry about the delay, guess I saw it and thought... MINE ALL MINE!!! Well here it is, looks like Jackie Chan is learning Special Effects like he said he wanted to when he came to Hollywood. Personally I say that the computers in the MATRIX RELOADED just need to create Jackie Chan to kick Keanu's ass. I wanna see that movie bad. No wires. Just Jackie kicking Keanu's ass old school Snake in Eagle's Shadow style. Hehehehe, now that's what I'm talking about! Here's the trailer...
