Hey folks, Harry here... I may have been the first to review the new STAR WARS movie, but David Poland is the first to review SPIDER-MAN! And it is one helluva review. He has problems with the combining of Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane into the same character. I HEAR THAT! He has problems with Koepp's script, I hear that too. He feels the long distant shots of Web-slinging are too weightless and too CG looking, but loves the more intimate work. He seems to be saying that Willem Dafoe is the best comic book supervillain ever. Better than General Zod? Better than Sam Jackson's Mr Glass? This I gotta see! Overall he really seemed to like the film, but with reservations. He has his review divided into spoilers and non-spoilers, so folks... Go check it out! Congrats to David for one helluva scoop!
