Central Texas AICN Readers -- Harry's Austin Booksigning is Today... No Joke... No Really... Really!

Hey folks, Harry here.... I just got finished watching Sergio Corbucci's COMPANEROS at the Alamo Drafthouse and I'm in a euphoric state of elation. Franco Nero just ruled in that flick! God, I love a good Spaghetti Western... Which reminds me, check out Corbucci's THE GREAT SILENCE... Knee-knockingly fantastic! Must be seen!
Anyway, it is April Fool's Day, which means I'm going to basically take a break from the site today because nobody would believe anything that I wrote anyway... because of this blasted holiday (or because of an inate lack of faith in me.) HOWEVER, I did want to drop you Central Texas AICN readers a note that I will be at BOOK PEOPLE at 603 North Lamar in Austin, Texas at 7pm tonight to do a book signing and shoot the shit about everything from Star Wars to Spaghetti Westerns to Fernando Di Leo to Spider-Man and Lord Of The Rings to Khalid to... well you bring up a subject and I'll talk till the bats return to the Congress Avenue Bridge.
There might even be a chance that I may be arranging something secret... something safe to check out tomorrow night after the signing, but you'll just have to attend to find out what and when and where. Yes, I am a bastard, but while I may tease the pleasure centers of the geek nation, I do know how to follow through. It will be something fun... Well, maybe not, but I think it'll be fun. At least for me.
Also... For everyone else out there wanting to know about other book signings... A lot of that will be up to interest. There are some preliminary plans to maybe do something in New York... maybe... But if you want me to come do a signing or a talk... if you have a book store or know of one you'd like to see me talk to, then email Jimmy Franco and let him know what you would like. Be nice, he's a very good guy, but right now there isn't another book signing planned... and sending me email about it doesn't help... Sending Jimmy stuff... might.
As for you Austin Area Readers... I'll see you tomorrow and I'll be a lot more sober than I am right now... I hope.
