Thought I'd take a few minutes to toss ya a detailed breakdown for those who haven't been fortunate enough to see this awesome piece of eyecandy. Okay, here we go....

(OKAY, I MISSED A FEW SECONDS HERE WHILE I SCRAMBLED TO GET A TAPE, ANY TAPE, IN THE VCR)
Back to the trailer...
FADEOUTS accompanied by HEARTBEATS of the Shape approaching down a dark alley
FADEOUT of Laurie/Keri(Jamie Lee Curtis) standing at the end of the alley, eyes clenched, praying for the awful sight to go away as...
NARRATOR: "One teacher....
SHOT of Laurie staring out a window
...is living in fear."
CUE HALLOWEEN THEME as a body is carted out of a residential home on a stretcher...
LAURIE: "I'm not who you think I am...
WIDE SHOT of Laurie straddling Adam Arkin's character on a sofa, bent over him...
LAURIE(Cont'd, to Arkin): "...I changed my name when I went into hiding."
ARKIN: "Talk is terrible. Take off your blouse."
He begins to kiss her neck
LAURIE: "My brother killed my sister."
SLOW-MO of the Shape stalking down a hall away from CAMERA
ARKIN (V.O., laughing softly): "How'd he do that?"
A drawer is yanked open, spilling twenty or so knives to the floor
LAURIE: "With a really big kitchen knife."
CUE THICK, DRAMATIC HALLOWEEN THEME(you know the DU-du-DU-du-DU-du-DU-du-DUUUUU...
Laurie stares out another window as a reflection of the Shape's pasty white mask slowly disappears
JOHN(Josh Hartnett's character, V.O., to Laurie):
"That's enough...I can't
take it,
Mom..."
John confronting Laurie in front of a department store
JOHN(V.O.): "...he's DEAD..."
VARIOUS DISSOLVES of newspaper clippings("Babysitter Killer on the Loose"), drawings of the Shape's mask, etc.
JOHN(V.O.): "...it's been twenty years...what's he waiting for, huh?..."
BACK TO Laurie and John
JOHN: "..don't you think he would've shown up by now?"
MORE HALLOWEEN THEME as a very large kitchen knife is eased out of a wooden knife block by an overalled hand
FLASH CUT to an EXT. of the main gate of the prep school at night
LL COOL J's security guard, on the phone, turns to face a window as if he's heard a noise
FROM PHONE(worried): "What's goin' on, baby?"
ANOTHER ANGLE on LL as he goes back to the phone...
LL(into phone): "I don't know..."
...the Shape is peering in through the window behind LL
LOTS OF SHOTS...
- a dark haired girl turns her head in fear as thunder crashes
- the shadow of the Shape on the other side of a curtained door
- JOHN and Michelle Williams' MOLLY make their way across a dark room
JOHN (V.O.): "..This is a sick joke..."
- a dark-haired boy stares up at the Shape in terror
- ZOOM in on Molly as she and John stare, eyes wide, at something or someone
MOLLY(sheer terror): "WHO IS THAT?"
- the Shape's eye in the mask
NARRATOR (V.O.): "Now...
- a room spins as John and Molly prepare to run
- the shadow of the Shape as it moves through a door
- a girl looks up from the floor
- John and Molly running across the campus
MOLLY: "COME ON!"
P.O.V. shots from the teaser trailer as we move down a hallway, yank open a closet door, etc.
NARRATOR (V.O. CONT'D): "...the face of good...and the face of evil....will meet...one last time..."
SHOT FROM THE TEASER of Laurie and the Shape face to face through the glass porthole type window, sizing each other up
Laurie breaks the glass of an emergency axe case mounted on the wall and yanks out the axe
NARRATOR: "But this time.."
CUE SOME NEW MUSIC - a hybrid of the DARK CITY trailer music and the SCREAM score whenever Gail Weathers would appear...
NARRATOR (V.O. CONT'D): "...it's going to be a fight.....to the FINISH."
...as Laurie stands in the middle of the campus courtyard in silhouette, clutching the axe
LAURIE(at the top of her lungs): "MICHAAAEEELLL!!!!"
ANOTHER FAST MONTAGE OF SCENES as the MUSIC goes medieval on our asses...
- the Shape lunges forward turning over two tables and several chairs in the
process
- an elevator falling
- Laurie cowering under a table as the Shape's legs move past
- a girl turns around
- the Shape in silhouette steps into a hallway
- another girl running like hell down said hallway
- John and Molly kissing
- a hand snatches up a knife from the floor
- a knife cartwheels through the air at the Shape
- a knife lands in a wall
- the Shape plummets backward over a balcony railing, legs high in the air
- somebody running through the woods
- Laurie awakening from a nightmare
- a hand reaching out for another desperately, fingers only centimeters
apart
NARRATOR(V.O.): "This summer..."
- Laurie running up some stairs
- Laurie punching the Shape
- a van rolling down the side of a hill
- John on his back screaming
NARRATOR (V.O. CONT'D): "...terror..."
- Molly pounding frantically on a door
- close-up of the mask as the Shape approaches
- a huge knife only inches from Molly's face
NARRATOR (V.O. CONT'D): "...won't be taking a vacation."
MUSIC ABRUPTLY STOPS as we see Laurie entering a dark room cautiously as....
...the Shape lowers himself from the ceiling(ONE-HANDED!!!) right behind her
-Laurie spins around swinging the axe-
CUE TITLE CARD:

--SHOT of Laurie and her secretary(played by Janet Leigh) talking--
LEIGH: "It's Halloween...I guess everyone's entitled to one good scare."
--QUICK SHOTS of...
- the Shape driving a knife down
- a knife slicing through something only inches from Laurie's face
-Back to Laurie and Leigh-
LAURIE: "I've had my share."
And that's it...all in all, one kickass trailer!!! Look for it, Harry. You'll be cheering! I can't wait to see it in a theater with an audience!
