Father Geek here. Well, NYC geeks have a unique opportunity to see Kirk Douglas, his son, and grandson making movie magic happen in the coming weeks, starting in a few days at the corner of Greenwich and Canal. This is your chance to watch one of the "Golden Age of Hollywood" stars do his thing, let us know what you see... Here's the letter I received last night...
Hey Harry and friends, this is Crom. Sorry I haven't sent you any news in close to a year, but NYC filming has been very, very slow lately. I last sent you advance news about the Royal Tentenbaums, and now I send you this news on SMACK IN THE KISSER. It stars Michael Douglas, Kirk Douglas, and Michael Douglas's son whose name I think is Cameron Douglas. Filming starts Monday the 18th and for the past week we have been prepping the sets. It's a Comedy/Drama which I don't know much about yet since they haven't handed me a script at this time. I should get a script next week though, so I'll let you know more...that is you if you don't know everything about this movie already.
The first major set shoot we have is on the corner of Greenwich and Canal Street which they will be filming at for ten days starting at the end of the coming week.
If you have any questions let me know. I'll get back in touch once I get a script.
-Crom-
