Hey folks, Harry here... Beautiful poster for Episode 2, but ya know... with it matching the 'Drew Struzan' series... it has become such a work of commercial art, which I know is the purpose of all film posters... I just miss the wildly different styles of all the different posters for the original STAR WARS or EMPIRE STRIKES BACK or RETURN OF THE JEDI... before they decided to make this 'style guide' by which these posters must adhere. The single advance posters are nice, but frankly... I would love to see Lucas hire Alex Ross to do a poster.... Frank Frazetta to do a poster.... Al Williamson to do a poster.... ya know? Go back to his roots for wildly divergent styles and looks. Sure... include the Struzan series.... but hell the fanbase for this movie would 'collect them all' anyway... Why not get looser with it. Stop acting like a corporation and just have fun with the form like you did before you started over-analyzing the bottom line. Having said all that... I really love this poster... ahem...
