Hey folks, Harry here.... Last I heard this was being picked up by LION'S GATE, but that might of fallen through. If anyone has the lowdown on the when and where this is going to be released drop me a line! Here ya go....
Hey Harry,
Never sent you a note because I never really had any info or an opinion, in fact I might still not have anything for you, however, I went to the Rob Zombie show here in Dallas last night and got to see a few clips of "House of 1,000 Corpses". I noticed when I walked in that they were selling "Corpses" T-shirts, which got me excited all over again about the flick, of course I picked one up. So, to my point, Rob and the guys played the movie's title track and Rob prefaced by saying he'd spent two years of his life working on the flick and there has been a ton of problems trying to get the movie to the screen for the fans. He then said those problems had indeed been worked out and we could expect the movie to be release real soon. Of course he didn't give any details about the release such as a date and if it would be a theatrical release or straight to video. So as the guys played they showed clips from the movie behind them on the screens. It was new stuff, not previously seen in the theatrical trailer from this past summer. All I can say is WOW ! This movie looks great and I hope that he hasn't cut anything to appease the ratings board. From what I saw, this flick will definitely get an NC-17 rating, it would be a lousy film if not. From what I could tell it looks as if he's rolled Motel Hell, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, NOTLD and others all into one outrageous and horrifying flick. The visuals were just great and the effects very realistic. I have a feeling if and when the movie gets released it will scare the pants off many people and I'm sure he'll receive much criticism from the "holy rollers". I wish I could give you more details but it was more of a teaser than anything, just to get us salivating a bit.
