According to another story broken by the hardest working man in entertainment news, Michael Fleming of VARIETY, Keanu Reeves is set to play BILLY JACK in a remake of the '70s picture. Tom Laughlin, who wrote, directed, and starred in the original movie, is going to co-produce with Danny De Vito's Jersey Films and Reeves' 3 Arts Management team.
I... honestly... have nothing I can add to this story. I am flummoxed. Befuddled. Just plain dumbfounded.
I wonder if he'll insist on being called William Jack? That would be MOST excellent.
