Our spy, BedWetter, reports in after reading the World Journal (the biggest Chinese newspaper in North America)about what's going on with Michelle Yeoh, Chow Yun Fat and John Woo. This paper tends to track what these three are up to pretty closely, but often time, the news they report was true when it's reported, but due to the mercurial world of Hollywood, the news changes after a few days. However, the bit about Michelle Yeoh talking with Lucas and Spielberg would be very cool, but perhaps she's talking to Spielberg about Memoirs of a Geisha? Not as the lead, but another character? I don't know. That's why I'm asking you. Take this news with grains of salt, but it'll start some conversations, that's for sure...
I already posted it up on my website Total Entertainment at http://www.accessv.com/~franklin
Michelle Yeoh
The rumour of Michelle Yeoh ("Tommorow Never Dies") starring in "Vertical Limits" appeared to be false; the project was terminated due to oversized budget, kudos to "Charlie's Angle". However, there are signs that Michelle will be starring in the new "Indiana Jones" (WooHoo!) movie, she recently had meetings with Spielberg and Lucas.
Chow Yun-Fat
Chow Yun-Fat recently finished "The Corruptor" and will be starting in the remake of "The King and I" in Australia.
John Woo
John Woo will start the production fo "Mission Impossible 2" with Tom Cruise in October. The other possible future project will be a western called "Last Words" starring Paul Newman and Harrison Ford.
