Got a letter from David Cross thanking everyone for contacting New Line to let them know how much you want to see RUN RONNIE RUN, the Mr. Show movie, and he asked me to reprint this, which was taken from BobandDavid.com:

Thanks to everybody who wrote in to New Line regarding the postponement/shelving of Run Ronnie Run. It seems we made our point quicker than we expected. What we wanted to do was to give the people at New Line an idea of the amount of people out there who would like to see the movie, and support its release.

I'll be in touch with New Line to check on any update regarding the release of this film in the weeks ahead, and I'll pass on anything I hear. There's a number of films they have yet to schedule, like SIMONE and ABOUT SCHMIDT and RUN RONNIE RUN, and if they're smart, they could find strong spots for every one of those movies. There's more going on at New Line than THE LORD OF THE RINGS and AUSTIN POWERS, believe it or not, and your efforts to let them know that you want to see these other films really does make a difference.
