Well here's a few tidbits on EYE OF THE BEHOLDER, a film I haven't heard much about, but this report makes it sound pretty cool. It has a pretty good cast, anyone know anything more?

A friend who works in post-production showed me some early footage the other day of the new Ewan McGreggor/Ashley Judd flick called EYE OF THE BEHOLDER that just finished shooting a few weeks ago. It was directed by Stephan Elliott (PRISCILLA; QUEEN OF THE DESERT), and also has k.d. lang and (an unbelievably cool, smack-shooting-un-90210-like cameo, believe it or not) by Jason Priestley.
My friend tells me that it's a $20 million indie production that the studios are still bidding on to distribute.
Now, granted you can't tell a lot from 20 minutes of rough-cut scenes, but the footage I saw was FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Stephan Elliott is going to be HUGE pretty soon. The camerawork is amazing, and Ashley (who changes disguises in almost every scene) is SOOOOOOO HOT it is unbelievable. I love Ewan, but I must admit I'm a little disappointed at his past few films. This seems to be the perfect quirky-yet-commercial-studio-style vehicle to get him back on track before he hits the stratosphere with the PREQUEL. My friend also tells me that Massive Attack is probably going to do the music.
From what I can tell, it's a spy thriller, where Ewan's character is following Ashley as she seduces men, kills them and then steals their money.
