Set Reports on BOND 20!!! Plus a Flag thingee!

Hey folks, Harry here with the latest on that Austin Powers GOLDMEMBER hating not so secret agent, James Bond movie known as BOND 20. Well, let's get on with it shall we?

Hi Harry and all

After a recent scan through the local paper I discovered they were filming the next James Bond Film on my doorstep (article towards the end of the email) at the home of the British Army - Aldershot. In the vast wild wood lands of the surrounding area, untouched accept by masses of soldiers, tanks and dog-walkers, they think they can recreate Korea. It's not the first time the man from Military Intelligence has been round these parts, in the World is Not Enough he was chased by the cutting-disk wielding helicopter, on the other side of town.

The location being used is a high speed driver training centre, in the middle on dense woodlands, although the site is not fenced off, it is difficult to get being military land. There are signs every where for 'Eon' and warning about the Hovercrafts, but all I've seen so far are tents, coaches and a strange border watch tower. I'll no doubt be down there during the week with my camera. I'll keep you posted.

Call me 'British Bob'

"From Rushmoor with love! Bond movie will have local flavour." James Bond Has been licensed to thrill in Aldershot.

The 20th film chronicling the adventures of the world's most famous secret agent will include electrifying scenes shot in Rushmoor.

But cinema goers are unlikely to spot too many Aldershot landmarks when the film hits the big screen later this year.

For the home of the British Army is doubling for somewhere slightly further afield - ironically a "demilitarised" zone between North and South Korea.

Film Makers have been using land, rented from the Ministry of Defence, for about a month and are expected to remain on site until March. Dog walkers have been bemused to see a fleet of film trucks, buses, catering coaches and fire trucks surrounding a large scaffolding tent on an army training area.

Two hover crafts have been spotted at the site and a spectacular opening chase sequence will be shot there. A spokeswoman for Eon Productions confirmed: "Some of the action scenes are going to be filmed in Aldershot."

The town has been selected because of the vast expanse of MOD land available. But any starspotters hopping for a glimpse of Bond star pierce Brosnan could be left disappointed. Asked whether Mr Brosnan, making his fourth appearance as Bond, will be turning up in Aldershot, the Eon woman snapped: " I doubt it".

And now for MiloMan

Hey Harry

I've got some news concerning the new 'bond' movie, me and my fellow spy infiltrated Pinewood Studio where they're shooting the new movie and where able to get a look at one of the sets of the new movie, from what we saw

it's based around east asia, in fact the enemy soldiers appeared to be of chinese origin, dressed in army get-outs, some of the soldiers fitting masks. also, we where able to see one of the scenes being shot which comprised of a helicopter being blown up in what appeared to be a concentration camp,

which came complete with barbed wire fence, watch out tower and a huge arch like entrance with a massive star on it, also i've copied down the flag used in the base which i presume to be the enemy flag, i'm a little slow when it comes to flags so if anybody recognises it as a national flag then bingo, that's where the base is set. i hope this info is of use to all you bond nutters!..
