Ok folks, most of you have to wait till September before you have a chance to see SIX STRING SAMURAI. Pointer: Get really goofy first. But anyway, I get quite a bit of email about S.S.S. because not many people have seen it, and well, it seems I got some of you excited about the film. Well, it seems Lance is not letting the linens get cold, and is playing with the ol flint and steel to get a project or two off the ground. I tell you I can't even imagine what this guy could do with a budget. I mean personally I felt S.S.S. is a beautiful film. Here's a report on the future of Lance...
Hmm I don´t know how to begin here. The thing is that I talked to Lance Mungia ( Six string samurai ) the other day at a deli in downtown Los Angeles and I asked him what projects he was working on and he said that he was talking to Silver Pictures about a Westworld remake. Also a big budget Hobbitesque fantasy only set in our time with another company I think. There was also a shootemup in the works. I mean this is the fella who dircted Sss (SIX STRING SAMURAI). I hope I´m not overly paranoid here. If you use it call me Oreo.
I can tell you that my sources inside Joel Silver's office tell me that they are looking at a tremendous script by a couple of unknowns that just rocks this world allegedly that they will be renaming WESTWORLD. I've heard it's very good, and my spies are working on getting me a copy, soon as I get it, if I get it, I'll let you know if it's a p.o.s. or a rocking film for anticipation. I do know that if Lance gets attached we are looking at a film that will knock your socks clean off...
