Harry here... Folks, this sounds fantastic, exactly the sort of weirdness and bizarrity that I can't wait to see coming from David Cronenberg. Sounds exactly weird enough to be a great flick, and in the meanwhile we get SPIDERS.... hehehe, sit me down and project I say!
David Cronenberg's new movie - Painkillers - will star Nic Cage in the story of a French artist - Orlan (Orlan plays herself in the film), who uses her own body for artistic purposes.
She has had nine plastic surgery operations and has exhibited digital photos and sculptures of her body.
Orlan told the French press " David Cronenberg wrote a movie called painkillers, based on my treatise on L'Art chamel and the fight against pain. I will be playing my own role and I also know Nicolas Cage will be part of the cast. As for when shooting will begin, I will know more about that during this year's Cannes Film Festival where I will presenting my work to the public".
