SCORPION KING Trailer Is Now Online.... woo hoo.. ahem

Harry here, and yeesh this trailer looks like cheese on rye. Maybe it is that they decided to use the CONAN music by Poledouris. That worked wonderfully with the Gladiator trailer, but in that trailer you had Russell Crowe's badass dialogue and Oliver Reed behind it. It got me all jonesed. Here, well beginning with his sword, which he just doesn't look natural swinging. Remember the magic when you saw Arnold swinging his blade about... That just isn't here. At least not with me. In addition to that, everything just looks clean, even when you see grime, it looks like vaseline and dirt. The dialogue seems stiff and the bad guy (or at least who is being fed to us as being the bad guy) looks like a stock bad guy fro JAG.
I know people that are working on this film, and they've told me that THE ROCK is really great in this film, but everything I see of him from the film just feels blocky and stiff. I really hope that his performance comes to life when the film plays as a whole, because it would be nice to have a big cool bad ass action hero that could fill the void left behind by Stallone and Arnold, because they are getting up there ya know?
