Well folks, this is only the third review I have received on the X-Files feature, so they sure are doing a damn good job of keeping it under wraps. And this fella says it's real good. But warning there are plenty of spoilers below, so just know this fella thought of it as being real good, that answers a couple of questions from the arc, but not the entire arc. Oh and one last thing, he says that the naked back picture is Scully and we never do get another angle, so all you panting geeks (like Robogeek) just calm down! Ok? Good.
Hey how's it going in Texas? I just saw the release version of X FILES! And it's good real good, They only answer the questions on the bees and the black oil. But advances the X files continuing story along nicely with out confusing new ticket buyers. A few big things also happen with the characters a bad guy bites it, one you wouldn't expect. A new major bad guy is introduced, plus the relationship with Scully and Mulder advances.
It picks up with Mulder and Scully and terrorism detail after the X Files has been closed, remember the fire in Mulder's office? All this happens after a cool opening sequence with the black oil and the goverment. Mulder ends up locked in a room with a bomb and that's a pretty cool action sequence that sets up the whole movie. From there the FBI try to blame Mulder and Scully for destruction of the building which as it turns out was a cover for something sinister with the syndicate. With Mulder and Scully trying to save their lives and careers they find out the purpose for the oil and the bees, after a thrilling bee attack sequence is the part where Mulder expresses his feelings toward Scully, about how she makes him a whole person and how he can't continue without her. And as they are about to kiss she is stung by a bee!
From there the story moves to the artic with Mulder going to save Scully. I won't give away the ending but I'll tell you a few thing about the rumors. No star wars trailer, Cancer man never is seen interacting with the agents, no Mulder butt shot, Scully doesn't say the F word, and that is Gillian Anderson in that photo but you only see her back and it takes place while Mulder saves her.
that is it hope it dosn't spoil it for you too much
Mr. Withheld.
