Star Wars Prequel Trailer News: An ongoing saga of tiring proportions!!

Well apparently here's the final word for the time being about the Prequel Trailer from a spy called Agent Spender. Agent Spender did good leg work and remarkable skills in placing a man close to the man to get a response. Good work Agent Spender

I work at Fox but not in the film division and have no association with them. However, at my request, a friend of mine had the chance yesterday to ask Tom Choreic, the head of worldwide film distribution and the man behind the special edition releases last year, about the Star Wars rumors. He gave very direct answers and swore to their accuracy.

Regarding the possibility of an Episode One trailer or teaser attached to "The X-Files" movie, he said it will not happen. It was not ready, so they attached a trailer for "There's Something About Mary," another upcoming Fox movie, instead (by the guys who did "Dumb and "Dumber," stars Ben Stiller, Matt Dillon and Cameron Diaz, and opens July 15). The way it works is, the studio releasing the film can attach one trailer and the rest are set by the various exhibitor companies for their theaters' prints. Since exhibitors have not yet had the chance to bid for new Star Wars films, its unlikely it will hit theaters that way this Summer, so we'll have to hope they choose to attach it to a later Fox film and not wait until this Fall.

As for the reports of significant footage being out of focus or in someway defective, he insisted this was untrue. Given the context in which he answered and my knowledge of his character, I believe him. (His first reaction, by the way, was "You've been spending time on the Internet haven't you?")

Since everyone makes up names, if it matters call me Agent Spender.
