Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
Jacob32, one of our regular chatters, e-mailed me to remind me about tonight's premiere of the new SPIDER-MAN trailer during TEMPTATION ISLAND on Fox (check your local listings for times). I can't wait to see some more footage from the film. I spoke with someone recently who's seen the film, and she called it "lovely, surprisingly free of camp, and quite exciting." She also professed to hate FX films and has never read a comic book. Interesting reaction, eh?
If you can't bring yourself to toss all morals and standards out the window and watch TEMPTATION ISLAND, have no fear. The official website should have the new trailer online later tonight, and we'll run a link to it just as fast as we can.

Okay... that was cool. Spidey looks awesome. The Goblin is not so bad in quick cuts, and I hope they figure out just how to use him in the final film. I am confident that Sam Raimi has, at the very least, made a film that loves Spider-Man. There's too many cool-ass hero shots here. He understands the appeal.
Now we just have to see if they can tell a good story. And all the toys in the world can't help with that.
"Moriarty" out.
