WOW! Harry here. Wow. I'm so happy! The most beautiful woman in the history of creation is going to be playing Betty Ross in Ang Lee's HULK movie.
Well, I don't know what it means for you, but for me... It means I'll watch the film about a 1000 times. That's what Jennifer Connelly means to me. She isn't a star that I look at and just instantly begin having evil thoughts... like say Salma or that Greek gal the other day. Jennifer, ever since I first saw her melt on screen in LABYRINTH... It has been googily heart palpatations when she is on screen. Now, you couldn't have kept me away from a HULK movie even with that Hayter script or Hensleigh scripts. It was the HULK... I am programmed by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby to give a shit. BUT putting Jennifer Connelly in is dirty pool. I mean, I went and saw CAREER OPPORTUNITIES like a dozen times when it came out because... I thought it was the most beautiful love story of all time.... ahem, I'm sorry, she does that to my brain. Instantly frying it in those eyes of hers.
When I read Zorianna Kit's piece in Hollywood Reporter, I just about died of glee. Made a high pitched girl scream and fainted, instantly coming to and writing this... rather pathetic display of adoration for Ms Connelly. And when I read that Ang Lee was going after Nick Nolte for General Thunderbolt Ross.... Sweet Mary in a jezebel sauce! WOW! That's about as fanboy dream casting as they come.
With Bana as BANNER/HULK.... Now we just have to pray that Schamus fixed that dreadful Hayter draft, because we know ILM can do the HULK.... right? And we damn well know Ang Lee can direct the hell out of this thing! YIPPEE!!!!
