Harry here. Quite frankly I met R2D2 at a convention once... Total ASS! The hunk of metal just was a complete drunk, hustling underage fangirls non-stop. Really depressing. R2 was a hero in my younger days. Someone who... well, while I didn't physically look up to him... I liked and emulated his roundness... There are so few great rounders in history. Winston Churchill, Alfred Hitchcock.... R2D2. This first look at where R2 comes from filled my heart with glee, trying to remember my feelings about the guy before his fall publicly... which you'll see in the second part of this documentary series that Lucasfilm is doing. I'm actually shocked to see a hard hitting look at one of the personalities so key to the Star Wars universe being endorsed by George Lucas. Well... I suppose the truth will win out in the end... Maybe R2 has finally come to grips with his issues since getting out of Rehab. God, I hope. Here ya go.
