Ok I got this bit in from The Omega Man, as far as I know Robert Rodriguez is not attached as director, and never was. He has written a script. No, I have not read it. Yes, I probably will. I do know that it is a very expensive endeavor with a whole hell of a lot of effects and creature work. And last I heard it was too expensive to produce. And there is no way in hell that Predator 3 can be readied for 1999. The Studio System is a real live production tool in Hollywood, but they sometimes have out of date data. I'm running this for all those other titles listed below, do you know anything about any of them? Curious minds like mine and yours want to know...
The Omega Man here...
I don't know if you're familiar with The Studio System, but it's a popular production tool here in Hollywood that keeps subscribers up to date with upcoming productions. Well according to it Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently attached to star in Predator 3!! It went into development at Fox with Davis Entertainment 4/8/97 for a 1999 release,
Robert Rodriguez is also attached as director and committed as writer.
The logline says " A squad of American commandos journey to a planet where the Predators are preparing an invasion of Earth."
Interesting? No mention of Glover though.
Also of note, just to name a few that I hadn't heard of yet...
Beverly Hills Cop IV
Black Stallion Rebels (III)
Batman 5 (lists John Travolta for actor and "checking availability")
Buck Rodgers (Buena Vista)
Caddyshack III
