You see, as for as geek genre cool... GIANT BUG MOVIES are about the Bees' Knees! And within the genre of Giant Bug Movies, the greatest are ALWAYS the SPIDER ones... Unless you're talking about THEM!, then only one really really rules! I always wanted Harryhausen to kick ass with an Insect world vs our world flick, and the closest was the giant BEEs in MYSTERIOUS ISLAND.... But I wanted giant bugs ala EARTH VS THE FLYING SAUCERS. This trailer looks exactly like what I want now! Nevada under attack by giant spiders! Where's the line again? Why isn't this opening today? Oh... it isn't finished, so... shucks... we'll wait till the spring I suppose... sigh...
