Eric Bana has signed on as Bruce Banner in Ang Lee's THE HULK!!!

Hey folks, Harry here... Today, Variety confirmed that Eric Bana has gone ahead and put ink to paper to play Bruce Banner in Ang Lee's upcoming production of THE HULK! If you remember this article from the week after the 9-11 events, then you knew this was likely to happen. My feelings? Well, Ridley Scott had chosen Eric Bana to be a co-lead in BLACKHAWK DOWN.... so he had to be good right? Now Ang Lee chose him over the likes of just about everyone in Hollywood... and Ang Lee ain't a shabby chooser usually. And Bana frickin' ruled in CHOPPER. So I'm in the wait and see mode here. I mean, at least you non-Aussies should have little to no familiarity with him as anything other than Bruce Banner. That is always good. A well known American actor... you could be left with thinking, "Oh look, Nick Cage is Hulking out," instead of thinking Bruce Banner.... So... I see this as a good thing, how about y'all?
