Action star Nicholas Cage has been paid 17 million dollar NOT to play Superman in a movie planned by Hollywood giant Warner Bros. Cage was guaranteed a massive pay day after agreeing to take on the role, whether the movie was made or not, but a soaring budget has forced Warner Bros to axe the project.
Now the lucky actor is free to do other work he has been bombarded with offers of other film roles, the paper says.
