Hey folks, Harry here with a link to the second trailer to the Peter Pan sequel from DISNEY called RETURN TO NEVERLAND which looks like will be tainting a screen near you this coming February.
The first trailer was pitch perfect... sense of adventure, daring and a wild taste of imagination and wit and timelessness.
Kiss that goodbye. In this trailer, first you'll notice that the voice of Peter Pan sounds nothing like the original, that the dialogue feels way too modern (to be 1940's war torn ENGLAND!!!!) and while it is lushly animated and quite pretty looking... it seems that same artistic wonder did not extend to the rest of the production. Of particular heinous assault is the song you'll hear being played during the trailer.
If that atrocity is heard once during the film, then... if I were an animator at Disney, I would pick up and start working on RAID commercials, because that tripe is just fricking drivel of the blandest offensive junk. TERRIBLE! First off it is COMPLETELY WRONG for this time period. Two, it is terrible for any and all time periods. Three, it is like really really bad ALABAMA level tunesmith hell... Certainly has ZERO CLASS. ZERO FLAIR. And ZERO STYLE.
I can't believe that I put any faith into this.... Dear God. I forgot I was dealing with a corporate mind at the creation end. ECK!
