Trailer for A BEAUTIFUL MIND Pops Up OnLine! Looks Pretty Sharp!

Hey folks, Harry here... Recently we've been hearing about A BEAUTIFUL MIND from test screenings and from the sound of it, Ron Howard has made a damn fine film, and Akiva Goldsman is finally having one of his scripts not butchered by the director directing it. Akiva has been so closely related to some of the crappiest films that film geeks like us have had hopes for, that his name alone has become scary enough to drive some away from his films. HOWEVER, I have long said that Akiva completely gets a bum rap. If you read his early draft of BATMAN & ROBIN, prior to the attachment of Arnold, when Patrick Stewart was being wooed for Mr Freeze... or his LOST IN SPACE script which actually had a beautifully touching story of Will Robinson, till a certain director mutilated it into some sort of wannabe action suspense film with a gumby monkey blopping about the screen... Well, it really looked bad for him.

However, I feel that Akiva finally has a director that isn't set to mutilate his script... actors that know how to say their lines and breathe life and humanity into the characters instead of performing them as if on the WWF. A BEAUTIFUL MIND is my hope for a really rock solid film from Akiva. And CountingDown.com has the trailer which is our first moving look into the world that Ron Howard has created here.
