Toxic Tommy’s one of those guys who has his eyes peeled for any little nugget of news out there that might be missed by lesser eyes. Take this letter. How the hell did he track this down? What sort of aimless browsing turns up links like these?
I saw a preview for this film back at ShoWest 2000, and I thought it was underwhelming then. Can’t believe we still haven’t seen any sign of a domestic release. Looks like they renamed it for overseas, too. If you read Tommy’s letter, sounds like there’s some imagery in this that might make a release here problematic in the immediate future. Read on... you’ll see what I mean...

Toxic Tommy here. I discovered a Japanese site for the Dimension Films sci-fi flick "Imposter" starring Gary Sinise, possibly known as "Clone". This film has been delayed many times here in the US, pushed back to Spring 2002. Appearently it is ready to be released overseas.

Both sites are in Japanese. You'll either need the fonts to view or deal with all the unknown characters. Be aware, however, that some images on the trailer will probably not been seen in the states for some time: shots of bombs or missles heading to what looks like New York City. The movie appears much more violent than I would expect a "Gary Sinise" movie to be, but it may be a foreign cut. Who knows?
