Harry here with an oh-too-brief accounting of the HARRY POTTER theme which apparently was played on BBC T.V. Sunday... Ok UK-ers, how many of ya recorded that, and who will be the first to give us people in the rest of the world a listen? *tapping foot impatiently*
Aaaaah here we go... Personally I think it is less Elman-ish, and more HOOK-ish... but that's just me probably....

FIrst time e-mailer but I was reading the stuff about Harry Potter and saw an opportunity to chip in.
On BBC T.V. on Sunday they aired the first performance of the Harry Potter theme by John Williams. Starting with a gentle harpsichord it soon descends into a riot of blaring horns and crashing percussion.
The point being, it was quite dark and sinister (it could have been composed by one Danny Elfman) and if the tone of the film reflects this then this could be a rare blockbuster that delivers in every way.
