Alright Folks, Harry here!!! The first month of our SIDESHOW/WETA Lord Of The Rings Toy Contest is done and we have our winners!!! That's right Month #1 is over and the winners have been decided. We didn't have tons of entries in the LOTR contest but they did come from as far away as Israel and from ages ranging 15 to 44. Two Canadians won... One Texan. One Wolverine and a genius from Tennessee. Didn't win this time out? Don't worry... Below the winners announced is the second month of our long running LORD OF THE RINGS contest! We have a couple of entrants from this month that will carry over into next month's contest, so hop on it and send em on in! Now for the winners...
THE LORD OF THE RINGS Sculpture Contest V.1!!!
Our first two winners need to write with their choices of the selected prizes from the first contest, so I can give their decisions and addresses to SIDESHOW to get those prizes out to them pronto! This first contest was for: FRODO BAGGINS Statue, PIPPIN TOOK Bust and the MORIA ORC SWORDSMAN Bust!!! David... Samantha... Give me your first and second choices ASAP! David gets his pick, Samantha gets second pick and Douglas gets the remaining prize! Here are the winners!!!
1st Prize will go to David Evans of Ashland City, Tennessee for his absolutely perfect rendering of Kublakhan. This picture does not even begin to do justice to this fantastic sculpture by David. All who have seen it in person are blown completely away and Kublakhan himself is frightened by it, you see, he has no reflection on either film nor mirrors so this is the first time he's seen himself. Stunning!

2nd Prize goes to Samantha Avila of San Antonio, Texas who drove all the way from San Antonio to Austin with her mother and little sister to hand deliver this masterpiece to me at the ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE smackdab in the middle of QT5! This is the first sculpture she has ever made and is a Sophmore in High School! GREAT JOB!!!

3rd Prize goes to Douglas Davey of 'the Great White North' who made this lovely Junior Mintz. She comes with removable flashlight, removable box of candy, removable candy/soda tray... And is just adorable. He used a steak knife and chainsaw sanding paper in the creation of this babe... A Psycho for sure! Heheheh

Now for those in the Animation/Silent Film Toy category... We have the following winners:
1st Prize - Dave Hettmer of Ann Arbor, Michigan has won NOSFERATU his own self!!!!

2nd Prize - Tash - I have no address for you, contact me with where to send your prize! Tash has won the LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT figure

3rd Prize - Cartuna - WHAT??? Well you see, I only had two entries into the contest for the animation side of things, so I was forced to award the 3rd prize to the only other person to have ever sent in a Nosferatu Harry Animation, and that was AICN's own Cartuna... Cartuna was quite taken aback by this decision... and is now celebrating that his great talent has showered upon him the gift from the career of Lon Chaney!
