I have no idea what to make of this one. This is one of those rumors that should come with its own salt lick. I've never heard from "The Big Dunc" before, and I have no idea what an RAC Convention is, but that doesn't mean this isn't true. Let's just see what he has to say about the latest doings of Paul Thomas Anderson...

Just thought I tell you about the RAC Convention at the week-end.
It was kinda boring until wonder-upon-wonder the man Paul Thomas Anderson turned up to talk about his latest film.
Now personally I wasn't interested in hearing about his new film, Mr Anderson lost my interest when he cast Adam Sandler as the star.
What was really interesting was that Anderson started to talk about the Boogie Nights 2, apparently he's putting the finishing touches to the script.
He said the sequel is more of a ensemble piece and not the Dirk Diggler Story Part 2. Apparently Dirk will be a co-star and share the screen time with the other characters, all set in the videotape 80's.
He did say that Dirk would continue to struggle to break out of porn and find mainstream success with a Miami Vice like TV show, Amber Waves the last great movie porn star will hate the 80's videotape era and have to deal with her porn career coming to an end, Rollergirl apparently becomes the biggest porn star in world but is struggling to come to terms with her sexuality.
He didn't mention anything about Jack Horner, does that mean Burt Reynolds won't be returning?
He also teasted that one of the major character would be suffering from the big-disease-with-the-little-name?

I must admit... if PTA was somewhere talking about his Adam Sandler film, I want to know what he said. He's been so quiet on it so far that any news would be better than what we have so far.
And a BOOGIE NIGHTS sequel that deals with AIDS? I have no idea what to think of this. I've never heard one mention of the possiblity of a sequel before now. Was anyone else at this convention? Can anyone verify hearing this, or disprove it?
Let's get to work sorting this one out...
