Hey folks, Harry here... Well it seems that Soderbergh is moving forward quickly on the so-called follow-up to SEX, LIES AND VIDEOTAPE called HOW TO SURVIVE A HOTEL ROOM FIRE! In addition to this casting I can confirm that Nicky Katt (Boston Public, Insomnia remake, Way Of The Gun, etc) is on board as well. So smile my friends, Soderbergh's camera never stops rolling!!!
Hi Harry,
I am writing to you from david-duchovny.com to let you know that MIRAMAX has closed a deal with Steven Soderbergh to direct a movie called How to Survive a Hotel Room Fire which is a drama about which we don't know much about just that this film will be a loosely based sequel to Soderbergh's Sex, Lies, and Videotape.
According to the September 10th 'US Weekly' David Duchovny has official signed up to star in Steven Soderbergh's How to Survive a Hotel Room Fire in addition to Catherine Keener and David Hyde Pierce. The film is scheduled to start shooting this November.
