Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.

I'm starting to work myself into a Jack Black-induced frenzy. If you go poke around the Spumco site, you might stumble across a magnificent Flash animated video for "Fuck Her Gently" by Tenacious D. I've also heard that Spike Jonze is doing a video for "Wonderboy" before the release of the Tenacious D album on September 25.

And then there's SHALLOW HAL.

I had a chance to sit in for a day of rewrites during the round table part of the process on HAL, and watching Peter Farrelly work with a roomful of comedy writers, you get a real sense of how he has come to be in the position he is. He's got a sharp comic mind, and he can take an idea and spin it a million different ways until it really works. HAL has one crazed premise, but damn if this trailer doesn't look like the guys pulled it off and made something really fun. Thanks for the heads-up, Tyler.
