Exclusive trailer for zombie/action flick DEAD TRIGGER

Ken with an exclusive trailer for the zombie action/horror movie DEAD TRIGGER.

This could be a lot of low-budget fun.  I’m always rooting for Det. Jack Caine (Dolph) and he looks to still be in fantastic shape but he still delivers lines more wooden than Howdy Doody.

If you take out the robots this could almost be a sequel to BATTLE OF THE DAMNED, also starring Drago.

DEAD TRIGGER’s plot sounds nonsensical per IMDB.

A mysterious virus has killed billions and turned many others into bloodthirsty zombies. Unable to stop the virus, the government develops a video game, "Dead Trigger," that mirrors the terrifying events that curse the world.

So a virus takes out the planet.  The government can’t find a cure.  Sooo…They develop a video game that mimics living in the apocalyptic world they already live in.  M’kay.

It’s based on a video game I’ve played but the plot wasn’t familiar to me.  I just remember killing things, so not sure how it all ties together.

Besides Sgt. Chris Kenner, this one also stars Autumn Reeser (THE O.C./ENTOURAGE), Romeo Miller (HONEY), and Isaiah Washington (GREY’S ANATOMY/EXIT WOUNDS).

DEAD TRIGGER was written by Heinz Treschnitzer, Mike Cuff, and Scott Windhauser off the videogame of the same name by Madfinger Games.

Are you ready for more low-budget zombie apocalypse fun?

It's just a flesh wound!

What’s your favorite role by Dolph?

I named a few of my favorites but omitted Andrew Scott from UNIVERSAL SOLDIER, a guilty pleasure of mine.   I would love to see an EXPENDABLES lineup for a new UNIVERSAL SOLDIER flick.  Otherwise, leave it where it is, having burned a good idea fully into the ground.

DEAD TRIGGER runs 90 minutes and is due to hit theaters and On Demand May 3rd.

Til the next time Kids
